In 2013/14 there are 118 pupils eligible for the Pupil Premium in the primary phase of the Academy and 390 pupils eligible in the secondary phase of the Academy. The total amount of funding expected is £474,903.
Our pupil premium is used to support a range of activities and resources which support students whose achievement or whose progress is lower than it should be. These included the following in the primary phase:
The achievement of primary students eligible for the pupil premium was well above students nationally. 95% of them achieved Level 4+ in reading, 95% in writing and 95% in mathematics. This compares to 78%, 73% and 77% of Pupil Premium students nationally.
Within the College the achievement of Pupil Premium students was comparable to the achievement of other students who achieved 98%, 93% and 98% for reading writing and maths. The progress of pupil premium students was comparable to other students and shows that they were making very good progress from their starting point which exceeds national data on progress.
Within the College the achievement of Pupil Premium students was below the achievement of other students who achieved 71% at GCSE. However the progress of Pupil Premium students was comparable to other students and shows that they were making good progress from their starting points which exceeded national data on progress.
