Geography at KS3 looks at a wide range of Geographical topics, incorporating physical, human and environmental geography into different units. Each year there is at least one country study which links these varied topics together (Year 7- The UK and Australia, Year 8- Brazil and Year 9 - China.) The main aim at KS3 is to foster an enthusiasm for the subject and to get pupils to engage with the world around them, as well as to provide students with key skills needed at Geography GCSE and beyond.
The Edexcel GCSE in Geography B has four units each worth 25% of the final grade. Students study Units 1 and 2 to build their core knowledge and understanding, this is then developed in Units 3 and 4.
