LOCAL GOVERNING BODY
The role of the Audit Committee is to commission internal and external audit, recommend adoption of the annual statutory accounts and to maintain an oversight of the Federeation's risk management.
The role of the Finance Committee is to advise the board on the financial health of the organisation and to monitor financial performance and the delivery of central services.
A standards committee to monitor overall academic standards across the Federation and to support the Local Governing Bodies in performing this funtion effectively for each Academy/
The role of the Strategic Committee is to advise the board on the overall strategy and direction of the Federation and to take specific responsibility for governance, major projects and staffing matters as appropriate.
Each of the three Academies has its own Local Governing Body Committee (LGBC), made up of a Nominated Director of the Trust as its Chairman of the Governing Boar of the Trust, Co-opted Governors, a local authority governor, a staff governor and parent governors.
